QuiltRest Open Coil Mattress

The QuiltRest is a traditional double-sided coil sprung mattress with a medium-firm feel. It's a dependable choice for a teenager's room, a guest bed or an everyday adult bed, and it comes in five sizes from single to super king.

Inside, 13.5-gauge coil springs spread weight across the whole mattress. Dual satin pads and 700 g of polyester filling cushion the springs, under a quilted soft-knit jersey cover. Air vents in the micro-quilted border let air move in and out.

Good to know

At 23 cm deep it's a full-depth mattress for beds at standard height and divans, not for bunk beds, high sleepers or mid sleepers. Because it's double-sided, turn it over and rotate it regularly so it wears evenly and lasts longer. It arrives flat and wrapped, ready to use.

Most of our mattresses can be delivered the next working day (Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays). The delivery line above shows the time for this mattress.

Some mattresses arrive rolled and boxed, which makes them easy to carry up stairs. Others arrive flat and fully wrapped, ready to sleep on straight away. The specification tells you which.

Delivery is free to UK mainland addresses, and we'll email tracking details as soon as your order is on its way. Our delivery policy covers the rest of the UK.

You have 14 days from delivery to change your mind, and another 14 days to return it. If your mattress arrives damaged or faulty, contact us and we'll put it right.

If it arrives rolled: unbox it soon after delivery, in the room it's going in. Lay it on the bed, carefully cut away the wrapping and let it unroll. You can sleep on it after a few hours, and it reaches full shape within 24 to 72 hours.

If it arrives flat: take off the wrapping and let it air for a few hours before you make the bed.

Rotate it head to toe every few weeks for the first three months, then every three months after that. Only flip it if it's two-sided. A mattress protector keeps it fresh for longer.
