About this mattress
The Kayflex Empress Ortho is a traditional pocket sprung mattress with a medium feel, as Kayflex describes it. It suits back and side sleepers and couples who want springs that move independently.
A unit of 1000 pocket springs sits under layers of rebond foam, Kayflex foam and lofty polyester. It's finished with a knitted soft-touch panel, hand tufted to hold the fillings in place, and a micro-quilted border with handles.

It's about 25 cm deep. It arrives flat and wrapped, ready to use once the packaging is off. Kayflex makes its mattresses in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire.
Kayflex's 5-year warranty gives free repair or replacement in the first year, then covers the foam for years two to five, where you pay a share of the price that rises each year.

Delivery
Most of our mattresses arrive within three working days, and some can be delivered the next working day (Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays). The delivery line above shows the time for this mattress.
Some mattresses arrive rolled and boxed, which makes them easy to carry up stairs. Others arrive flat and fully wrapped, ready to sleep on straight away. The specification tells you which.
Delivery is free to UK mainland addresses, and we'll email tracking details as soon as your order is on its way. Our delivery policy covers the rest of the UK.
Returns
You have 14 days from delivery to change your mind, and another 14 days to return it. If your mattress arrives damaged or faulty, contact us and we'll put it right.

Unboxing and care
If it arrives rolled: unbox it soon after delivery, in the room it's going in. Lay it on the bed, carefully cut away the wrapping and let it unroll. You can sleep on it after a few hours, and it reaches full shape within 24 to 72 hours.
If it arrives flat: take off the wrapping and let it air for a few hours before you make the bed.
Rotate it head to toe every few weeks for the first three months, then every three months after that. Only flip it if it's two-sided. A mattress protector keeps it fresh for longer.
