About this mattress
The Guardian is a traditional open coil mattress with a sturdy, medium-firm feel. It's often bought for a guest bed, and it's just as good on an everyday bed for a growing child, a teenager or an adult who likes a firmer mattress.
It's built on a 12.5-gauge open coil spring unit: thicker spring wire for firm, even support. Polyester comfort layers sit over the springs, under a soft-touch textured damask cover, and hand tufting holds the fillings in place so they stay evenly spread.
Will it fit your bed?
At about 15 cm (6 inches) deep, the Guardian suits guest beds, standard beds and divans, and bunk beds, high sleepers and mid sleepers that take a mattress up to 16 cm deep. If your raised bed gives a 15 cm maximum, choose a 15 cm mattress such as the MemoryDream 15 instead. The sizes are UK sizes, 190 cm long.
Turn it over and rotate it regularly so it wears evenly. It arrives flat and wrapped, ready to use.

Delivery
Most of our mattresses can be delivered the next working day (Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays). The delivery line above shows the time for this mattress.
Some mattresses arrive rolled and boxed, which makes them easy to carry up stairs. Others arrive flat and fully wrapped, ready to sleep on straight away. The specification tells you which.
Delivery is free to UK mainland addresses, and we'll email tracking details as soon as your order is on its way. Our delivery policy covers the rest of the UK.
Returns
You have 14 days from delivery to change your mind, and another 14 days to return it. If your mattress arrives damaged or faulty, contact us and we'll put it right.
Full details are in our returns and refunds policy.
Unboxing and care
If it arrives rolled: unbox it soon after delivery, in the room it's going in. Lay it on the bed, carefully cut away the wrapping and let it unroll. You can sleep on it after a few hours, and it reaches full shape within 24 to 72 hours.
If it arrives flat: take off the wrapping and let it air for a few hours before you make the bed.
Rotate it head to toe every few weeks for the first three months, then every three months after that. Only flip it if it's two-sided. A mattress protector keeps it fresh for longer.
