Florence Memory Sprung Mattress

The Florence pairs a memory foam top with traditional springs, in a slim build that suits children's beds, bunk beds and guest beds. It has a medium feel: the memory foam softens around the shoulders and hips, and the springs keep it supportive.

A 13.5-gauge open coil spring unit sits at its core. On the sleeping side there's 2.5 cm of memory foam and 500 g of polyester, with 300 g of polyester underneath, all inside a micro-quilted cover with a soft-touch finish.

Will it fit your bed?

At about 15 cm (6 inches) deep, it suits standard beds, divans and guest beds, and bunk beds, high sleepers and mid sleepers that take a mattress up to 16 cm deep. If your raised bed gives a 15 cm maximum, choose a 15 cm mattress instead. The sizes are UK sizes, 190 cm long.

It's one-sided, so rotate it regularly rather than turning it over. It arrives flat and wrapped, ready to use.

Most of our mattresses arrive within three working days, and some can be delivered the next working day (Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays). The delivery line above shows the time for this mattress.

Some mattresses arrive rolled and boxed, which makes them easy to carry up stairs. Others arrive flat and fully wrapped, ready to sleep on straight away. The specification tells you which.

You have 14 days from delivery to change your mind, and another 14 days to return it. If your mattress arrives damaged or faulty, contact us and we'll put it right.

If it arrives rolled: unbox it soon after delivery, in the room it's going in. Lay it on the bed, carefully cut away the wrapping and let it unroll. You can sleep on it after a few hours, and it reaches full shape within 24 to 72 hours.

If it arrives flat: take off the wrapping and let it air for a few hours before you make the bed.

Rotate it head to toe every few weeks for the first three months, then every three months after that. Only flip it if it's two-sided. A mattress protector keeps it fresh for longer.
